Cancelling an appointment
Please allow 48hours notice when cancelling an appointment and call us during office hours. This will allow us to offer your appointment time to patients on our waiting list.
If you fail to give us 48 hours notice, a cancellation fee may apply. Payment will be require before you can make the next appointment. Repeat NO SHOWS will also be charged.
We recognise that your time is valuable, and we make every effort to run on time. Occasionally emergencies or patients require a little more time, and these cause scheduling delays beyond our control. We apologise if we keep you waiting.
What you need to do to see us?
There is no need for a referral from your doctor. No long wait for an appointment either, we will fit you in as soon as we can.
Medical Appointments with Dr Yip
You will need to obtain a referral from your local doctor. This is done prior to booking your appointment. A referral ensures that your doctor is kept informed about your consultation and hence help keep your medical records complete.
A valid referral allows you to receive the maximum rebate applicable to your visit when it is processed by Medicare. We are able to process your rebate at our practice. A referral cannot be backdated hence the reason why you need to visit your GP before seeing us. A referral is your responsibility, it is not appropriate for our staff to contact your doctor for a referral.
Do we bulk bill?
No, we do not bulk bill. We are a private medical practice and are fees are based on the rates recommended by the Australian Medical Association (AMA).
We do not issue accounts and fees are payable in full on the day of consultation.
We accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercard only. We do not accept American Express, Diners Club or cheques.
Requests for lost prescriptions will be charged a $30 fee.
We have 8 car spaces including one for disabled patients. You need to enter via Campbell Street.Parking on our premises are strictly only for patients and staff. There is additional parking in Westfields Liverpool which is a 2 minute walk from our surgery and is free for the first 2 hours.
We are a 15 minute walk from Liverpool Station.
