Dr Jennifer Yip

Dr Jennifer Yip gained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1986 from University of Sydney after 5 years of full time study. Prior to commencing dermatology postgraduate training she did 4 years in general medical and surgical residency rotations including plastic surgery in major teaching hospitals in Sydney. One year of full-time laboratory-based research in skin was done at the Department of Infectious Diseases at the University of Sydney culminating in a Master of Medicine degree. In 1990 and 1991 she worked with the world-renowned acne expert, Emeritus Professor John Cunliffe at the Leeds General Infirmary now the Leeds Trust Hospital, United Kingdom. In 1992 she returned to Sydney to continue and complete her training. She was award her Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 1999.

Since 1999, Dr Jennifer Yip has worked full-time as a dermatologist predominantly in southwestern area of Sydney. She provided regular rural services to Dubbo for several years as well as services to Orange and Forbes. From 2003 she has worked full-time in Sydney focusing in providing a full range of dermatological services to the greater southwestern area of Sydney (Liverpool, Bankstown and Campbelltown). In 2012 she centralised and expanded the clinical services at her main practice at her purpose-built specialist practice and closed the satellite practices at Bankstown and Campbelltown.

In 2016 a further expansion took place at the Liverpool practice with an additional floor built onto the practice to provide the cosmetic services of the business.

She provides medical and surgical dermatology services as well as cosmetic procedures at her Liverpool practice. Dr Jennifer Yip and her nurse are able to advise you on the most appropriate procedure to achieve the desired clinical result.
