Light treatment or phototherapy is commonly used to successfully treat a wide range of conditions including eczema, psoriasis and vitiligo. It is extensively used by dermatologists worldwide. Using evidence-based medicine and best practice principles we are able to provide you with effective treatment of many conditions. Our practice uses the most up to date equipment including a Daavlin NUVB fully body cabinet and a Daavlin hand and foot phototherapy unit using both UVA and UVB wavelengths. Treatment plans are devised by Dr Yip, the dermatologist and treatment is overseen by our qualified nurse. Regular reviews are carried out during the course of treatment by Dr Yip herself.
This is a Medicare subsidised treatment and our practice currently bulk-bills this treatment for all patients.
